STAR (Student Action for Refugees) is back with another night worthy of getting those dancing shoes out for... presenting Refugee Rhythms!

For the next edition, we're really bringing FRANZ VON and his live band down to Yellow Arch. You may recognise him from his cameo appearance alongside Forefathers at our last event or as Emcee of K.O.G. & The Zongo Brigade, and we're really excited to announce he'll be back at Yellow Arch with his own unique blend of hip hop, afrobeat, African rhythms or whatever else he chooses to play.

Joining them, we're thrilled to be bringing down Leeds-based band Mamilah for their first Sheffield appearance with their funky, jazzy, soulful vibes and previous guests Rogue Siesta who were absolutely fantastic last time we invited them down and we can't wait to see what they've got for us in store this time!

As always, all proceeds are going towards STAR's nominated charities Conversation Club, (, ASSIST Sheffield and South Yorkshire Refugee Law And Justice who provide a range of vital support for Asylum Seekers in our city. Online tickets start from just £4 from Party For The People and we’re saving a limited amount of tickets for the door. Don’t wait on this, our last few events have been very popular and as much as we'd love to we can't fit everyone in!
